While wandering aimlessly through college and with the encouragement from my hairdresser, I joined the Toni&Guy team in 2002 as a receptionist turned Salon Coordinator. I quickly realized I was on the wrong side of the desk and enrolled in hair school at Lanier Tech and jumped right into weekly education at my salon. I trained under some of the best hairdressers in North America and England. I focused on hair cutting and styling for the 8 years I worked with Toni&Guy. I had a lot of one on one learning from their international artistic team members, helped out with more hair shows than I can remember, and absorbed as much information as I possibly could from all the talented hairdressers I was surrounded by. I worked full time as a stylist and salon manager for several years.

I found myself wanting to work closer to home and a lighter schedule to accompany touring with bands doing hair and exploring as much as possible. I found MariemarieSalon in 2002 and joined their small team of 2 in the Kirkwood neighborhood. We eventually needed a change of scenery and moved to Candler Park and proceeded to grow into a beautiful successful salon with a staff of seasoned and new hairdressers. This is where I met my husband and found Davines. Both of which gave me back my fire for hairdressing.

While working full time behind the chair, I travel most weekends to share my love for Davines styling products and hair coloring systems with hairdressers throughout the southeast. We exclusively use Davines products and therefore practice safe and sustainable hairdressing.

After we both worked for large salons over the years, we decided that it was time for us to open our own salon running on a much smaller, and more intimate scale. We opened PAIR Studio in March of 2018 in Historic Grant Park. We share clients and consult on those we don’t.
